2

Invite your teammates

Go to the Team page, enter an email address, and copy the invite link. They click it, set a password, and they're in.

FAQ

Is anonymity optional?

Yes. When sending a kudo, you choose: anonymous (recipient sees "Someone") or visible (recipient sees your name). It's per-message — you decide each time. No one else, including admins, can override your choice.

Who can join my team?

Only people you invite. You generate an invite link for a specific email address. That link is single-use and expires in 7 days.

Can I have multiple teams?

Each account belongs to one team. If you need separate workspaces, use separate accounts.

Is there a limit on team size?

No hard limit. Kodous is designed for small to medium teams (5–100 people) where everyone knows each other.

Can I self-host this?

Yes — the full source is available. You need a Neon Postgres database and a Next.js-compatible host (Vercel is recommended).
